Free SEO tools for site owners
Free Website SEO Checker
Audit a page, find technical and on-page SEO issues, and plan your next content update with tools that explain what they check.
Start with a page audit
Check the HTML a search crawler can fetch. Add a search phrase for an on-page review.
The score is a SEOWins checklist aid, not a Google ranking score. No audit can promise a ranking.

SEO Keyword Analysis Tool
A free web page keyword analyzer: analyze the keywords on any web page, or turn a raw keyword list into a clearer content plan. Group related phrases, spot exact duplicates and review likely search intent before choosing which page to improve.
AI Search Insights
Review Search Console and Bing reports, then map their query or topic rows to any pages included in the files.
Import a report
Choose one report type. Importing replaces the previous rows for that source and leaves other sources as they are.
Export a CSV from the Search Console Generative AI performance report. Page-level files are supported; query details are not assumed if the export does not include them.
When importing multiple files for the same report, use non-overlapping date ranges. Overlapping exports can inflate totals.
No reports imported
Export a CSV from Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools and import it above. The SEO Opportunities tab can review real query impressions and average positions from a Google Web search query export.
A new property may not have report data yet. Wait for actual data; SEOWins will not fill in estimated visibility or rankings.
AI Citation Tracker
Log what you observe when you run the same prompts on AI search platforms. Review linked citations, unlinked mentions and changes over time.
Log an observation
Use a consistent prompt when you compare results. A linked citation means the answer included a clickable source to your tracked site.
No observations yet
Run a prompt on an AI search platform, then log whether your tracked site was linked, mentioned, or not found. Recheck the same prompts later to compare your own sample.
Monthly samples by platform
Counts use only observations matching the filters above. They do not estimate all answers on a platform.

AI Citability Checker
Split a page into passages and see which ones can stand on their own. Get a clear fix for each weak section. This is an editing aid, not a citation prediction.
Query Fan-Out Coverage Tool
Estimate the related searches behind a question, then check which ones your page covers. The searches are AI estimates, not data from Google or ChatGPT.
About this tool
Google says its AI features may use a technique called query fan-out, running several related searches across subtopics to build an answer. One question about running shoes might also touch on sizing, price, injuries and comparisons.
This tool estimates those related searches for your question. Add a page URL and it goes one step further, comparing every estimated search with your page sections and marking each one as covered, partly covered or missing.
That comparison is the useful part. A list of related searches is a nice idea, but a list of gaps on your own page gives you something to edit today.
How to use it
- Type the main question or topic your page should answer.
- Add your page URL to compare coverage, or leave it empty to get ideas only.
- Review the estimated searches and remove any that do not fit your audience.
- Look at the Missing and Partly covered rows, and check the closest section for each.
- Copy the gaps as an outline, then add only the sections that genuinely help readers.
Where the searches come from
An AI model generates the list as an estimate. These are not the real searches run by Google, ChatGPT or any other system. Those systems do not publish them, and they can change for each person and each query. Treat the list as a planning aid, in the same way you would treat a brainstorm from an experienced editor.
How coverage is measured
The tool removes common words and the words from your main question, because nearly every related search repeats them. It then looks for the remaining words in each section of your page. A search is covered if one section contains at least 75% of those words, and partly covered at 45%. Otherwise it is missing.
- Covered does not mean the section answers the question well. Read it to be sure.
- Missing can be wrong if your page uses different words for the same idea.
- The check reads raw HTML, so text added later by JavaScript is not included.
What to do with the gaps
Not every gap belongs on the same page. Add a short section if the angle is part of the same reader’s question. Create a separate page if it has a different purpose, and link the two. Ignore it if it does not help your audience.
Try not to stretch one page to cover every possible angle. A page that wanders is harder to read, and it can be weaker for every search it tries to serve. The keyword mapping guide can help you decide which page should own each topic.
Frequently asked questions
What is query fan-out?
It is a technique where an AI search system runs several related searches for one question, then combines what it finds. Google names the technique in its documentation on AI features.
Are these the real searches Google runs?
No. They are model-generated estimates. Google does not publish the searches it runs for a given answer.
Will covering more sub-queries get me into AI Overviews?
There is no guarantee. Google says pages need to be indexed and eligible to show a snippet, and that no special optimization is required. Coverage is useful because it helps you answer a reader’s full question.
Do I need a page URL?
No. Without a URL you get the estimated searches. With a URL you also get a coverage check against that page.
How many searches does it return?
It usually returns 10 to 14, each covering a different angle such as definitions, comparisons, costs, risks or alternatives.
