Free SEO tools for site owners
Free Website SEO Checker
Audit a page, find technical and on-page SEO issues, and plan your next content update with tools that explain what they check.
Start with a page audit
Check the HTML a search crawler can fetch. Add a search phrase for an on-page review.
The score is a SEOWins checklist aid, not a Google ranking score. No audit can promise a ranking.

SEO Keyword Analysis Tool
A free web page keyword analyzer: analyze the keywords on any web page, or turn a raw keyword list into a clearer content plan. Group related phrases, spot exact duplicates and review likely search intent before choosing which page to improve.
AI Search Insights
Review Search Console and Bing reports, then map their query or topic rows to any pages included in the files.
Import a report
Choose one report type. Importing replaces the previous rows for that source and leaves other sources as they are.
Export a CSV from the Search Console Generative AI performance report. Page-level files are supported; query details are not assumed if the export does not include them.
When importing multiple files for the same report, use non-overlapping date ranges. Overlapping exports can inflate totals.
No reports imported
Export a CSV from Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools and import it above. The SEO Opportunities tab can review real query impressions and average positions from a Google Web search query export.
A new property may not have report data yet. Wait for actual data; SEOWins will not fill in estimated visibility or rankings.
AI Citation Tracker
Log what you observe when you run the same prompts on AI search platforms. Review linked citations, unlinked mentions and changes over time.
Log an observation
Use a consistent prompt when you compare results. A linked citation means the answer included a clickable source to your tracked site.
No observations yet
Run a prompt on an AI search platform, then log whether your tracked site was linked, mentioned, or not found. Recheck the same prompts later to compare your own sample.
Monthly samples by platform
Counts use only observations matching the filters above. They do not estimate all answers on a platform.

AI Citability Checker
Split a page into passages and see which ones can stand on their own. Get a clear fix for each weak section. This is an editing aid, not a citation prediction.
About this tool
AI answers usually quote or summarise a small part of a page, not the whole thing. A section that only makes sense after reading the three before it is hard to reuse, however good the page is overall.
This tool splits a page by its headings and checks each passage on its own. It looks at whether the passage opens with a clear statement, whether it is a practical length, whether the heading names the topic, and whether it contains real specifics.
Every score comes from visible rules, so you can see why a passage passed or failed. The score is an editing aid, not a prediction. No public tool can tell you whether a specific AI system will cite a page.
How to use it
- Enter the URL of a published article or guide.
- Check the average score, then choose Only ones to improve to focus on the weak passages.
- Open the failed checks. Each one explains what to change.
- Use Rewrite with AI for a first draft. The rewrite uses only facts already in the passage and marks missing details with placeholders.
- Check the draft, update your page, and run the test again.
How the score works
Each passage starts at zero and earns points for each check it passes. Scores of 75 or more are shown as strong, and scores below 50 need work.
- Opens with a clear statement: 30 points. The first sentence is 6 to 35 words and does not start with a word like "it" or "this".
- Length is easy to quote: 20 points. The passage has 40 to 180 words.
- Heading names the topic: 15 points. The heading has at least three words and is not generic.
- Includes specifics: 15 points. The passage contains a number, date or proper name.
- States a plain fact: 10 points. The first sentence uses a direct pattern such as "X is" or "X lets you".
- Has a list or table: 5 points.
- Links to a source: 5 points.
How to improve a weak passage
Start with the first sentence. Imagine it appearing alone under your heading, with nothing else from the page around it. If a reader would ask what "it" refers to, name the subject instead.
Next, replace vague claims with something a reader can check. "Our tool is fast" says little. "The report takes about 30 seconds" says more, as long as it is true. Do not add made-up numbers just to pass the check. A false detail is much worse than a low score.
Long sections usually cover more than one idea. Split them under separate headings, so each new passage has one clear job.
Limits of this check
The checks use simple text rules, so they can miss good writing or reward weak writing. They work best on English articles and guides, and they are less useful for product grids or home pages. The tool reads raw HTML, so text added later by JavaScript is not included. Always judge the result as an editor would. Write for readers first.
Frequently asked questions
What is AI citability?
It is an informal way to describe how easily a passage can be understood and quoted outside its page. It is not an official metric from Google, OpenAI or any other AI company.
Does a high score mean AI tools will cite my page?
No. Citation depends on many things this tool cannot see, including the question asked, competing sources, crawling and each system’s ranking. Use the score to find unclear writing.
What is the best passage length?
No official length exists. The tool uses 40 to 180 words as a practical editing range, long enough to answer a question and short enough to stay on one idea.
Does the AI rewrite add new facts?
It is told to use only facts in the passage and to leave placeholders for missing details. AI can still make mistakes, so read every rewrite before you publish it.
Is this the same as AEO or GEO?
It covers one part of them. Answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization also depend on crawl access, indexing, authority and content quality.
Query Fan-Out Coverage Tool
Estimate the related searches behind a question, then check which ones your page covers. The searches are AI estimates, not data from Google or ChatGPT.
llms.txt Generator and Validator
Create a draft from your sitemap, edit it, then check the format and every link. You can also paste a file or load the one on your live site.
AI Bot Log Analyzer
See which AI bots visit your site, what they request and which errors they hit. Your log is read in this browser and is never uploaded.
